AFC & NFC Championship Game Picks

Baltimore Ravens at New England Patriots (Sunday 3pm)
The last time these two teams met in the playoffs two years ago, Baltimore blew off the Pats doors in the 1st quarter, leading 24-0 en route to a 33-14 victory in the Divisional Round. Just two offensive skill position players not named Tom Brady or Joe Flacco had an impact in that game - Ray Rice for the Ravens and Julien Edelman for the Patriots. Tom Brady is 4-1 in AFC Championship Games. In 8 playoff games with Joe Flacco at QB, the Ravens have amassed 300 or more yards of offense just once.
Winner: Patriots

New York Giants at San Francisco 49ers (Sunday 6:30pm)
The 49ers defeated the Giants 27-20 earlier this season in SF.  Can Alex Smith do it again after a near miraculous comeback last week against New Orleans? The Giants are starting to look just like that 2007 season that won a Super Bowl with an pass rushing, opportunistic defense and an Eli Manning-led offense that clicked on all cylinders.
Winner: Giants
