NFL Week 8 Predictions

New Orleans Saints @ St. Louis Rams (Sunday 1pm)
The Saints had an easy one last week in the Dome against the winless Colts. No reason to think they won't have another one this week against the winless Rams
Winner: Saints

Minnesota Vikings @ Carolina Panthers (Sunday 1pm)

Give it to QB Christian Ponder. He has already made the Vikings better in just one week.  The question is can the Panthers contain Adrian Peterson?
Winner: Vikings

Indianapolis Colts @ Tennessee Titans (Sunday 1pm)

The Titans are very happy to wake up and see the Colts on the schedule this Sunday.
Winner: Titans

Miami Dolphins @ New York Giants (Sunday 1pm)

What better way to come off the bye than to face the winless Dolphins at home, right?!
Winner: Giants

Jacksonville Jaguars @ Houston Texans (Sunday 1pm)

Despite no Andre Johnson, the Texans are keeping it together. Just ask the Titans who they smoked last Sunday, 41-7.
Winner: Texans

Arizona Cardinals @ Baltimore Ravens (Sunday 1pm)

It's the triple threat of trouble for the Cardinals - 1)coming East 2)on the road in Baltimore 3)Ravens coming off a bad Monday night loss in Jacksonville.  Yes, Baltimore will be angry.
Winner: Ravens

Detroit Lions @ Denver Broncos (Sunday 4pm)

It's the up-and-comers who've hit a tough, two-game losing streak in Detroit facing the up-and-comers who played in three good minutes to get a win in Miami in the the Broncos.
Winner:  Lions

Washington Redskins @ Buffalo Bills (Sunday 4pm)

The Redskins can't stop the run. The Bills can run it really well with Fred Jackson. That is NOT a good combo for Washington.
Winner: Bills

Cincinnati Bengals @ Seattle Seahawks (Sunday 4:15pm)

Bengals are going for four in a row. Seahawks have won 7 of 10 in the series.
Winner: Bengals

Cleveland Browns @ San Francisco 49ers (Sunday 4:15pm)

So, will Jim Harbaugh try to hit anyone after this one?
Winner: 49ers

New England Patriots @ Pittsburgh Steelers (Sunday 4:15pm)

QB Tom Brady is 6-1 against the Steelers. So, he somehow manages to get the win. But, can he do it against the NFL's #1 defense? Can the Steelers stretch out the secondary against a very suspect Patriots defense?
Winner: Patriots

Dallas Cowboys @ Philadelphia Eagles (Sunday 8:20pm)

The Cowboys will need DeMarco Murray to run for another 250 yards this week. If they can rough up QB Michael Vick, the Cowboys will have a shot.  Philly's lost 3 of the last four against Dallas.
Winner: Eagles

San Diego Chargers @ Kansas City Chiefs (Monday 8:30pm)

The Chargers threw away a 21-10 lead last week in NY to the Jets, literally.  SD has owned the Chiefs, winning seven of the last eight games.
Winner: Chargers

Last week: 7-6
Season: 69-34
