It wasn't pretty, but it's a win! Celtics take a 2-0 series lead over the Knicks with a 96-93 victory. Kevin Garnett scored the go ahead basket with 13 seconds left and then came up with the loose ball with 4 seconds to seal the win.
Playing without Chauncey Billups (knee) and having A'mare Stoudemire leave with a bad back, Carmelo Anthony took up the slack, pouring in 42 points and adds 17 rebounds.
Rajon Rondo led the Celtics with 30 points to go with his 7 assists.
Highlights here from NBA.com.
A couple of numbers:
Knicks were all over the boards - 20 offensive rebounds (53-37 overall edge NY)
22 lead changes - 15 ties
Incredible game.
Game 3 Friday night 7pm at MSG in NY.
