ESPNU’s Gruden QB Camp Specials Spotlight Top NFL Draft Prospects

ESPNU kicks off a series of six Gruden QB Camp specials tonight, Monday, April 11, at 7 p.m. (re-airing at midnight) as Monday Night Football analyst Jon Gruden interviews and breaks down film with University of Washington quarterback Jake Locker. After the successful one-hour SportsCenter Special: Gruden QB Camp a year ago, ESPNU will offer a 30-minute show for each of the quarterback prospects Gruden interviews and works out in advance of the NFL Draft, including Locker, Andy Dalton (TCU), Ryan Mallett (Arkansas), Cam Newton (Auburn) and Blaine Gabbert (Missouri). The series also includes a similar 30-minute special with Auburn defensive tackle Nick Fairley, a projected top-10 pick. The one-hour SportsCenter Special: Gruden QB Camp show with all five signal-callers will air Thursday, April 21, at 7 p.m. on ESPN.
Each 30-minute QB Camp show on ESPNU will be followed by a replay of a college football game (7:30-10 p.m.) from last season featuring a breakout performance of that night’s featured quarterback. Locker’s five-touchdown performance in double overtime against Oregon State game kicks off the series tonight.
