In shocking news from the WWE, World Heavyweight Champion Edge is retiring from the WWE. He announced the decision, due to the neck and various other injuries he's suffered over the past few years, on the WWE's Monday Night RAW
The 11-time Heavyweight Champion made a tearful sendoff in front of tonight's live TV show from Bridgeport, CT. His last match was a Wrestlemania 27 win over Alberto Del Rio.
The retirement ends a 14-year run in the WWE and a 19-year career in the ring.
