Bonds guilty of obstruction of justice

Former Giants slugger Barry Bonds is found guilty of one count of obstruction of justice in San Francisco Wednesday.  Three other counts against the all-time home run leader were thrown out after the jury couldn't come to a unanimous decision on whether Bonds knowingly took steroids or lied about taking them.

The conviction is a felony and has a sentence up to 5 years in prison, although most experts think that Bonds will do no jail time.  The attorneys for Bonds say they will appeal the decision.

I ask you the loyal readers of TCN, what is worth it?  Years of federal man-power, millions of our tax dollars for this?  I said it years ago when the government first started this crusade, it wasn't worth it then and surely isn't worth it now.
