NFL Week 16 Playoff Scenarios

The playoff scenarios for week 16 are:

In the AFC, the Patriots will wrap up homefield advantage throughout the AFC playoffs with a victory or tie or a New York Jets loss or tie.

The Steelers will win the AFC North and clinch a first-round bye with a victory and a Ravens loss.

The Kansas City Chiefs will win the AFC West under any following conditions:

    * Chiefs win and San Diego Chargers lose or tie
    * Chiefs tie and Chargers lose

The Baltimore Ravens will advance to the playoffs if any of the following happen:

    * Ravens win or tie
    * Chiefs lose and Jacksonville Jaguars lose or tie
    * Chiefs lose and Indianapolis Colts lose or tie
    * Chargers lose or tie and Jaguars lose or tie
    * Chargers lose or tie and Colts lose or tie

The Jets reach the playoffs if any of the following take place:

    * Jets win or tie
    * Jaguars lose or tie
    * Colts lose or tie
 

In the NFC, the Falcons win the NFC South and seal up homefield advantage throughout the playoffs with a win or tie.

The Philadelphia Eagles clinch the NFC East if any of the following happen:

    * Eagles win
    * Eagles tie and Giants lose or tie
    * Giants lose

The Eagles also reach the playoffs with a victory or a Tampa Bay Buccaneers loss or tie.

The Bears lock down a first-round bye with a win and an Eagles loss and a Giants loss or tie.

The defending Super Bowl champion New Orleans Saints get back into the playoffs with a win or tie or a Buccaneers loss or tie.

The New York Giants advance to the playoffs with a win.
