NBA TV Fans pick Magic/Nuggest for Tuesday

Fans Select Orlando Magic @ Denver Nuggets for NBA TV’s Fan Night on Tuesday, Dec. 14

Network will feature “12 Days of NBA Christmas” starting the week of Dec. 13

NBA TV’s Tuesday Fan Night game will feature the Orlando Magic at the Denver Nuggets, winning with 82-percent of the fan vote on The game will air on Tues., Dec. 14 at 9:00 p.m. (ET) with host Ernie Johnson and analysts Chris Webber and Kevin McHale on-hand for studio coverage beginning at 8 p.m. (ET).  

Fan Night presented by 2K Sports’ NBA 2K11 voting will continue on from Tues., Dec. 14 (8 a.m. ET) – Thurs., Dec. 16 (Midnight ET) as fans select the match-up for Tues., Dec.21 between:

·         Oklahoma City Thunder @ Charlotte Bobcats
·         Dallas Mavericks @ Orlando Magic
·         New Jersey Nets @ Memphis Grizzlies
·         Golden State Warriors @ Sacramento Kings

Starting the week of Dec. 13, NBA TV will air Hardwood Classic Christmas games as a part of its “12 Days of NBA Christmas” program stunt. During the week, the network will air the best Christmas Day match-ups and feature holiday themes for its signature programs including Fan Night, The Jump, the Beat and NBA Game Time. In addition, will provide editorial content and daily features on each of the teams playing on Christmas Day as well as game coverage on all five games.  

Tipping off on Tuesday is The Jump presented by 2K Sports’ NBA 2K11, a live, interactive show designed for the ultimate NBA fan.  Fans can submit questions and comments via, Facebook or Twitter.  Host Kyle Montgomery, analyst Dennis Scott and ‘chat-master’ Sekou Smith will respond and give their comments and analysis on everything happening around the league. The show will stream live on Dec. 14 at 1 p.m. (ET) on and air at 5:00 p.m. (ET) on NBA TV. 

The Beat returns this week to prep fans for game action with news and storylines across the league with host Marc Fein, regular contributors David Aldridge, SLAM’s Lang Whitaker as well as reporters from across the country.  The Beat airs Dec. 14 at 6:00 p.m. (ET).

In addition to the Fan Night game, NBA TV will also feature live games on Monday, Dec. 13 at 8 p.m. (ET) with the Indiana Pacers @ Chicago Bulls, Saturday, Dec. 18 at 7:00 p.m. (ET) with the Miami Heat at Washington Wizards and on Sunday, Dec. 19 at 7:00 p.m (ET) with the Phoenix Suns @ Oklahoma City Thunder.
