Things TCN Thinks to be True

For a very comfortable Wednesday evening in Rhode Island, a few things the folks here at TCN believe to be true:

* - The Celtics are a better team period with Doc Rivers back coaching them.

* - Lebron James, at the end of the day, will stay in Cleveland while Chris Bosh joins Dwyane Wade in Miami.

* - In my sportsradio listening these days, WEEI remains king while 98.5 Sports Hub is merely a commercial filler for me. I'd listen more to ESPN Radio, but AM 1450 has a tremendously weak signal here and I don't have satellite radio in my car.

* - Memo the the NHL - if nothing else, your lot in life is based on the fact that no one cares about your draft or your free agency. The same is so not true with the other big 3 - NFL, MLB and NBA.

* - I'm so into the show Wipeout these days.

* - Back to radio, separated at birth - WPRO's Dan Yorke and ESPN's Colin Cowherd. Not how they look, but how they sound.

* - As the trade deadline nears in MLB, Red Sox GM Theo Epstein's wish list has to include another bat and another arm in the bullpen.

* - The musical program "Tunes at Noon" in Providence is pretty cool. Check it out Wednesdays at 12pm in Burnside Park. Also, check it out at my other gig - YourProv.com.

* - Days go by way too fast! Thursday is already July 1st - just 24 days until Patriots camp opens in Foxboro.
