Breaking news tonight from the Boston Herald: Rasheed Wallace will be a Celtic.
Wallace will reportedly agree to a two-year deal for the $5.8 mid-level exception from Boston. So, now the Big 3 of Paul Pierce, Ray Allen and Kevin Garnett will become the Big 4 with Wallace.
A great signing by the C's as long as Wallace is on board with being that stalwart defender inside and ok mentally with coming off the bench. Only time will tell that. If he is, the Celtics are the odds-on-favorites to win the East in 2009-2010.
Stay tuned!
UPDATE (10:08pm) - Could Grant Hill be next? Gary Tanguay from CSN New England and ESPN say it's a strong possibility. BTW: Tanger's been all over this free agency for the Celts on CSN New England.
