Simply the Best - Tiger Woods wins Arnold Palmer Invitational

I'll be honest. Tiger Woods had me more captivated than the NCAA Tournament Sunday. Instead of watching North Carolina's blowout of Oklahoma (didn't watch a second of it), I was glued to NBC's coverage of the Arnold Palmer Invitational.

And how's this for drama? Down 5 going into the final round of Sunday's Arnold Palmer Invitational at Bay Hill? No problem at all for Tiger.

Woods puts home at three under 67 for the day to top Sean O'Hair by one stroke, draining a 15-foot biride on the 18th hole to win his first tournament since his knee surgery last year. With a -5 score for the tourney, Woods nets his 66th victory. It's also matches his greatest PGA Tour win in terms of how far he had to come from going into Sunday's final round. Not bad for a guy just in his third tournament after taking the previous eight months off, huh! (ESPN.com)

Simply amazing.

Simply remarkable.

Simply the best!

UPDATE (9:19pm) with video from ESPN -

Enjoy!

Tiger is the only reason i watch GOLF. Most of my mates in their 20s dont understand why a guy who doesnt even play golf watches one...because Tiger ROARS.

I am glad TIGER is Back and the PGA Golf can get some of its falling ratings back..TIGER IS GOLF.

THE BEST ATHLETE EVER

Tiger is back! I think people might enjoy this list, since Tiger and Arnold Palmer are both on it. I'm not sure if Byron Nelson’s record of 18 single season records will ever be broken.
