* - Jonathan Papelbon spouts off on Manny Ramirez in the Boston Herald and Esquire. BTW, Manny gets his spring debut today out in Arizona.
* - Special teams captain extraordinaire Larry Izzo is leaving the Patriots for the Jets. (NY Jets.com)
* - Friday Night Lights may get two more seasons on DirecTV! That would be a great thing. (IGN.com)
* - PC and URI see more action today in tournament play. PC has a tough task in a must-win game against Louisville. A loss probably sends the Friars into NIT consideration. You can see it at 12pm on ESPN. As for the Rams, they too are in a must-win situation against Duquesne at 6:30pm (Cox 3, MASN, DirecTV alterate RSN's)
The Daily RPI from Yahoo has the Rams and Friars at 65 and 71 after Wednesday's play.
* - If you like to bet on sports and you're from Delaware, there may be some good news coming your way as they're trying to make sports betting legal in the state. (ESPN.com)
* - UFC Hall of Famer and former WWE Superstar Ken Shamrock tested positive for three banned substances. He's scheduled to face another former WWE Superstar Bobby Lashley on Roy Jones, JR's fight card on March 21st. (Fox Sports.com)
* - Ian Eagle of CBS and the YES Network tells Neil Best of Newsday why he turned down a radio gig with Mike Francesa on WFAN.
