The Newsbabes Tournament will return for your voting pleasure this Friday!!! It's a little something Jess Atkinson, my former midday host at the Score and I came up with back in the early days of the station to help boost March Madness!
So, starting Friday, you'll be able to vote in your favorite Rhode Island news anchor/reporter into the top spot. It's just going to be a top 16 tournament this time and include just the folks on TV.
If you're new to the dance, our three-time champ is Kristine Johnson, who now works at WCBS-TV in New York doing the 5pm and 11pm newscasts with Chris Wagge. So, yes, it does pay to win this tournament!
Keep those RSS feeds and readers updated so that you don't miss a bit. The voting will begin Friday at 12pm, ET.
