So, a busy day around the world, especially the political one. Out goes John Edwards for the Dems and out goes Rudy Giuliani for the Repubs. Gee, was Rudy even in the race to begin with? It sure didn't seem like it.
At the Super Bowl in Phoenix, the week's first injury report will be out later this afternoon. It will be interesting to see just how the Patriots list one Tom Brady. I'm guessing limited practice via a team decision on that one. Keep listening to our coverage on the Score, where of course you can stream online.
Elsewhere, a night off for the Bruins and Celtics. Tim Thomas told the Beat earlier today on the Score that he was very excited with the win in the All-Star game as well as the victory last night against Nashville. Thomas, don't forget, joins us every Wednesday on the Sportsbeat.
Barry Bonds to the Padres? SI.com's Cliff Corcoran explains more on that.
And how about the plight of one Roger Clemens. The Rocket shows up at Astros camp today, saying nothing about his latest news on his steroid denial. It looks like Brian McNamee's lawyer thinks Andy Pettitte will sell his friend out by telling Congress about his HGH use back in the early 2000's. If he does, it will directly contradict Clemens' statement time and time again about never using HGH or steroids. Stay tuned on that one.
NBC putting on WWE Raw on Monday Night? Me thinks that will be a good idea. Also, look for the WWE to put forth an angle soon that will rival the Sebastian/Katherine brother/sister relationship from "Cruel Intentions."
Before I take off, here's a few photos to get you through this Wednesday:
